What is the Bible?
The Bible is made up of two collections of writings. The old testament is the writings of Moses to Malachi, to which contained the commencement of this worlds activities (creation) to around 421 BC.
The New Testament is a gathering of a small portion of the writings that followed the death of the Savior. These writings were given to attempt in teaching of the life of Jesus Christ, through 4 biographers and the other writings consisted of the activities of the leadership of the church until they were killed off.
The New Testament is but a portion of writings that existed from that time period. Other inspirational writings can be found in the Book of Jasher, Psuedipigrapha, dead sea scrolls, the nagamadie scrolls, and other various scrolls, tablets, plates of brass, gold, stone mounds, caves, buildings, and spires.
The authenticity and accuracy is in question in probably all of the writings yet there is a benefit to what is available.
