What does the concept of the three Gods of the Godhead being one God mean?
1. We know that they are three separate and distinct personages.

2. We know that as they are one, that we can be joined with them.

3. The oneness spoken of in John 17:19-23 is in regards to becoming in unity to what the Gods believe, understand and do.
In 3 Nephi 19:23 the Savior combines his faithful as becoming one with him as they come to a shared belief, even as Jesus became one with the Father when He came to a belief.
